"I am running for Congress because I have the education,
experience, training, skills, and ability to help. I am a long time advocate for kids, health care, credit reform, finance
reform, and prevention - health and occupational. When the mega businesses revealed their financial
greed and schemes in 2007, then closed doors, dumped workers, and ran off with the money, President Obama was able to keep
us from a deep depression - WE NEED JOBS and HOUSING NOW!!! I will WORK FOR YOU IN DC!!!! I
have 2 doctorates - medicine and law With my background as a physician in women's health, mental health, and preventive
medicine, I can help Congress address and solve some of the important issues that confront us today. I am a member of
the California Democratic State Central Committee and President of an organization dedicated to help resolve issues with California's
correctional funding, safety and medical care. As a private business person and entreprenuer,
I understand the problems and complexity of starting a business, hiring staff and budgeting to make a profit. I will
work to make your business successful. I am not a professional politician. I am a regular worker, like you, and I have
the same types of issues and concerns that you have. I know what you want from Congress. With my
Juris Doctorate, law degree, I do mediation and arbitration, so I know how to interact with people and solve real problems
quickly and successfully. As an arbitrator, I am a judge on the Air Hearing Board. Our board monitors air and water
quality and works with corporations to bring them into compliance to reduce air and water pollution. I am an ecologist
and I will work to keep our air, water, and land safe and beautiful for generations to come. As a Madera
Unified School Board Trustee, I was able to help successfully cut costs and encourage student educatiional success. I started
the "Farm-to-School" Program (which was not supported by the supintendent), and brought fresh fruits and
vegetables to our kids. The program currently has grown and brings in over $400,000 annually. As a teacher of
physiology and biology, I understand the education process and the barriers many find in getting a degree. As a minority
female, I know our struggles are often harder.
As a mom, I know the difficulties moms have balancing work and family including; meeting daily financial needs, handling
emotional needs, and dealing with all of the other aspects of regular life. MEMBERSHIPS: Central San Joaquin

Thanks voters, supporters, Patty Hughes
of Stanislaus - you are a great campaign organizer and you kept this big district together and active with volunteers. Thanks. / The battle to make
“The Valley” representative of actual residents did not end on Election Day. Although we won some important
victories, we fell short of a CD 19 win. We cannot afford to lose the momentum we just built. If we continue organizing, we
will succeed in valley representation of "regular working folks" in Congress in the very near future. Dr.

I will keep a Democratic Congressional
Office open in Madera. It will be open to those interested in Congress and politics. This was my first big race and I learned
a lot. I met some great people and some crazies. I am planning to try again in 2012. My broadcasts will continue, as will
my YouTube site: CentralValleyCD19. Goodwin: PHYSICIAN - LAW - MEDIATOR & ARBITRATOR - SCHOOLBOARD MEMBER - Certificated CA COMMUNITY COLLEGE
PROFESSOR (zoology, biology, physiology)
My Farm-to-School Program will bring $450,000 (fed funds) in 2010-11 to local farmers and fruits and vegetables to Madera students. Governor signed my idea (advocated 9/2009 in Madera Tribune) into law
to release terminally ill inmates and save almost half billion dollars "Goodwin's Law." Starting September 27th millions
of small businesses can get up to 8 new tax cuts - Republicans voted AGAINST these changes to help small
business. Denham did nothing about border security for 8 years. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/39712020#39712020 GOODWIN

HIDES FROM VOTERS "He's in DC," yet seen on Fresno TV. If Denham is elected, you will never find him (without
cash lure). Where's WALDO? GOODWIN LIVES and works in CD 19. Denham's
lives in Salinas/Atwater and he is trying to avoid CD19, except for cash. Dodging voters. Goodwin
is fully invested in the CD 19 district and will protect and discuss issues with you. Chukchansi, along with other
tribes, are heavily backing Denham. Our local economy will be secondary to tribal business
expansion needs - local power and individual power will become nil.
===CAL PERS, CAL
STARS and UC Retirement System are unfunded by $500 BILLION DOLLARS. Retirement benefits will drop - contributions will increase.
California also owes around $3 BILLION in overtime costs. Denham part of failed Senate - CA has lowest credit rating.

I always honor our soldiers and veterans.
I am a physician, arbitrator, mediator, peacemaker and a mom - so I will not vote for financial wars and our soldiers will
always be protected, not abandoned. Our sons and daughters will be more likely to die at home, with family, of old age if
I am elected to Congress.
GOODWIN WAS FIRST TO SUGGEST "MEDICAL PAROLE"
TO SAVE STATE MONEY - in an article published in the Madera Tribune September 2009 Loraine Goodwin advocated for medical parole.
The issue was then taken up by the state legislature and is slowly progressing through the system. GOODWIN has the IDEAS
to help the state and the Central Valley.

ELECT LORAINE GOODWIN CENTRAL VALLEY MOM AND TEACHER
The U.S. Congress is NUTS. The name-calling is out of hand. There is a general attitude
of obstruction, stalling and blocking by the Republicans. The Democrats are being called racist names, including "nigger." Sarah
Palin is traveling the country with John McCain saying,"it's time to reload."
When I was a kid we knew if there were problems among the kids, a mom or a teacher would intervene and bring
sense to the discussion. Luckily, Dr. Loraine Goodwin is both a Central Valley mom and a teacher - so now is the
time to take out a pouting Republican, and put a Central Valley mom and teacher in Congress for CD 19.
With a background in mediation and arbitration, Dr. Loraine Goodwin is PERFECT for CONGRESS. As a physician, Dr. Goodwin
has handled many people with mental health disorders. Loraine Goodwin will be a real asset in Congress - not part of the problem.

AFL-CIO SPURNS BLACK CANDIDATE, WOMEN
AFL-CIO says Dr. Loraine Goodwin is an excellent candidate, but decided to back
actor/musician Les Marsden as Central Valley candidate for CD 19 Congress. Dr. Loraine Goodwin is a physician in women's health
and preventive medicine for many years. She is also an attorney mediator/arbitrator certified by the Federal Mediation Concilliary
Services in Washington, D.C. Dr. Goodwin is a member of the Madera Unified School Board and has a deep understanding
of education and the role it plays for all children, but especially minorities such as, Blacks, Sikhs, Hmongs. Dr. Goodwin
is on the air board, water board, drug advisory board, safe schools board, wellness committee, fam-to-school committee, and
works with former President Clinton for child wellness. Dr. Goodwin feels the Marsden endorsement was not based on the best
interest of valley residents and is "suspect." "Many times these (union) endorsements are just another part
of the "good-ole boys club" which is geared to keep women and minorities out. These people who make the decisions
and endorsements are just regular people and have all of the flaws of regular men. They have the same racial biases and the
same cronyism. Women will always be something to be seen rarely - in spatterings - and at their choice." Dr. Goodwin
feels we valley residents must make a stand and "fight racism and fight hatred against women. As voters, we make
the choice. Men will continue to make the same old decisions and only by voting - for Dr.
Goodwin - will we change the course in the Central Valley and advance the causes of minorities, women, children
and others who have been shut out of decision-making for so long. That is why the valley is in such pitiful shape, as it is
now. Maybe there is a reason the AFL-CIO wants a weak valley candidate for the Democrats. REGISTER
AND VOTE FOR DR. LORAINE GOODWIN - the ONLY CANDIDATE that will stand up for the WHOLE Central
Valley. "The union let me down," says Dr. Goodwin. "I paid union dues
since 1992 and worked for union leaders - they said they wanted to help workers, minorities and women - and kids - but it
seems to have been untrue. It was all just talk, I guess. Some men want women only for erotica."

EARLY POLL GOODWIN AHEAD
A poll yesterday revealed 14 percent of the Democrats would vote for Dr. Goodwin and 8 percent would vote for Les Marsden.
These numbers are very early with most undecided - but it helps spur the campaign on.

HEALTH CARE BILL WILL HELP VALLEY CRISIS
The Central Valley has been in a health care crisis for any years. I started advertising free medical care in the Madera Tribune
in 2001. I provided health examinations, preventive medicine and medical education. I also helped connect uninsured residents
with available specialized caregivers. I am glad to see the day coming when the Central Valley will no longer be dependent
on doctors volunteering free services. Health care will be a right. I have cared for many pregnant women and I never
found one who really anticipated delivering an ill infant. But, it happens. Now, moms can get medical care for the kids without
losing the house, car, and job. We will all be better for this. Help me see that this Health Care Reform Bill program is properly
implemented and help me work on finance reform and education issues. I will work for you in Congress. Vote for Dr. Loraine
Goodwin a physician and peacemaker. DONATE FOR A BETTER VALLEY.

VALLEY RACISM SIMMERING WITH HATE CRIMES
TEA party goers say not racist, but they spout racist messages as do Rush Limbaugh and other commentators. We must protect
our families and kids and show our strength in 2010. Endorse Dr. Loraine Goodwin and make a statement that we will not
go along with old-time racism, hatred and invisibility. I do not tolerate any hate crimes. The valley belongs to us -
White, Black, Brown, Hispanic, Latino, Hmong, Asian, Indian and more, male and female, young and old, with various religious
beliefs. I will work for all in the Central Valley. Vote for me and DONATE.

Central Valley Democratic Central Committee-Racism in CD 19 Election
It is clear that the Central Valley Democratic Central Committee is displaying racism and cronyism in the Congressional District
19 election. It is clear that minorities must become involved to create a fair and open playing field for me, as a minority
candidate. Racism is not just for Republicans, Democrats display racism too. This display of prejudice and exclusion
by the Central Valley Democratic Central Committee will hurt our valley children for generations. The time is now
for Central Valley minorities to become vocal and bring your support. I know I am not alone and I have a lot of silent followers
who have been themselves excluded from the process and confused as to how to become involved and help. If you stand by, you
and your family will lose a chance to break out into a new land of possibilities. Don't let the old-school bigotry continue
to control the Central Valley. We are all Valley residents and we need to demand inclusion.

WTC Rescue Workers Finally Get Funds
WTC rescue workers are reaching a settlement for around $657 million. This is a financial settlement long overdue for
these heroic workers. I remember watching a young healthy tall male approach the WTC rescue worker table and request a mask.
She told him there were no masks left. I knew he would risk his life and work without a mask, and he did. He was very hesitant
to enter-but he did. I don't know who he was, but I think of him and his probable aftermath often. God Bless him and his fellow
heroic workers. I hope they get the medical care they deserve and disability benefits.

CANCER PART OF MILITARY
Marines and their families stationed at Camp Lejune were exposed to contaminated water for years. Now the soldiers are developing
cancer and other illnesses. The government denied a relationship for many years, but there seems to be hope for medical care
and relief for those dying ex-soldiers. The soldiers were young and unprepared to detect benzene and other chemicals in the
water. We owe them financial relief, medical care...and more.

DR GOODWIN STARTED MADERA FARM
TO SCHOOL... Shortly after joining the Madera Unified School Board, Dr. Loraine Goodwin began promoting
the Farm-to-School Program. The former superintendent was adamant that the program was not safe - so undoable. Undaunted,
Dr. Goodwin persisted and was able to get a federal grant to start the Farm- to- School Program which is run under the District
Nurse. Also, as part of Dr. Goodwin's efforts to start the Madera Unified Wellness Program, the position of Wellness
Coordinator was created and filled by Rosa Garcia. A wellness policy for the district was developed and is now present in
the cafeteria of each school. Madera children now enjoy fresh local fruits and vegetables at no cost everyday as part
of the school program. Dr. Goodwin feels "the Central Valley grows great food and we have beautiful farms. Our children
must be able to enjoy our produce in our schools. We need to get rid of the junk food and let our kids enjoy healthy local
produce. It helps the kids and the farmers."
